The Casa Amy, or: Amy House is located in corso Monforte, Milan, Italy in the year of 1961. The project is a study of a renovation. Vigano’s architecture is based on the quality of the space obtained thanks to the demolition of a single plank so as to obtain a stylistic continuity between entrance hall, lounge and dining area. White and black creates two volumes that fit together. The color also incorporates structural elements such as windows and doors, destroying the uniqueness of the item to unite them to be together again. It is well visible how Vigano believed in the contrasting of elements to point them out better in space.
