Fredi Alfredo Drugman (Feurs 1927 – Milan 2000) mixed teaching with a political career and a professional practise, following a vision of architecture as a process of civil and social progress. He attended high school in Paris and graduated in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano in 1952. His most significant works included housing and school buildings in Muggiò, Monza and Sesto San Giovanni, as well as villas in Sardinia, with Umberto Riva.

Fredi (Alfredo) Drugman participated in The twelfth Triennale of 1960 responded to this climate of domestic consumerism with the theme La Casa e La Scuola (The Home and The School).

The housing installation of Fredi drugman presented at the twelfth Triennale Milano 1960, was full of motifs and themes that you could experience.  Fredi in his installation divided between the day and night zones with a significant continuous spaces “kitchen, dining room and living room”.  The accommodation was designed for the modern life style, especially for the users whom demand comfort.
