B.B.P.R. is a studio of architects, planners and designers, composed of Gian Luigi Banfi, Ludovico Barbiato di Belgiojoso , Enrico Peressutti and Ernesto Nathan Rogers. Set up in Milan in 1932, it soon became a vivid part of the modern movement, of which the studio is one of the Italian leaders.
On the project Casa Oxilia provides a unique entrance with whom you enter immediately into a large space – large in the context of the living room following. The curved segment wall may be completed by a sliding door, by this movement the living room could be separated. The architect designed as well a special furniture for this curved wall while giving the room the feeling of the synthesis.
The interior is defined by a very prominent presence of the black metal fireplace which is close to the pillar in the middle of the room. Together they are connected by a shelf.
