This project of Franco Albini represents the perfect synthesis of a new idea of living is the „Room for a man“, a small test environment created for the company Dassi.

The design of room depends on the furniture placed that creates the inner environment. The interior is designed for a sporty and single man.

Whose cult of the body which is typical for Fascist era, is highlighted by the pattern of a gymnast on the glass divider. The floorplan is marked with modules of the white linoleum, which sets the order for all the things in the apartment.

Even the cabinets’ interiors are strictly arranged in every detail, e.g. spaces for clothes (long dresses, coats, jackets, and shoes), hangers, and shelves. The furniture placed is very modern, as the transparent shower, big wall made of gneiss that stands at the background, the crystal library and the bed which is elevated two metres above the floor with the rubber ladder.
