Carlo de Carli can be considered as a “global” architect due to the variety of his work and contribution to the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano. His work variety consists for instance of own manufacturing processes and operation in the Milan Triennale, the world’s industrial and artisanal production of furniture. His work consists of theoretical principles like the unity of architecture, continuity between nature and architecture and primary space.

Professor of Interior Design, Furniture and Decoration and director of its Institute from 1965 to 1968. He was dean of the Faculty of Architecture, where he taught until 1986. The entire activity of De Carli unfolds through a series of recurring theoretical principles, such as: the continuity between architecture and nature, the unity of architecture, the primary space. “ (ordinearchitetti.mi.it).
