One of Mallet Stevens’ works is this modernist house built for the art patrons Charles and Marie-Laure de Noialles, which is located in Hyères, France. This house was one of the firsts modernist style buildings constructed in France, celebrating the a new life style wich favoured the body and nature.

This house, th at today is used for for special exhibits, was in the 2nd World War used as an hospital by the italian army and then used as a summer house for the couple.(“Villa Noailles” 2017)
