Within a threedimensional grid 37 accommodation units have been aggregated to one complex. With the cubic units of 5 x 5 x 2,7 meters it was possible to arrange various kinds of appartments. Moreover, individual wishes of the buyers could be considered. Every accomodation unit has a protected exterior space as well as an own entrance. There are stairs but no stairwells and between the densed constructed buildings there result different pathes and places. On the ground floor there are spaces that can be used for business or ateliers and at the main place a well equipped club room can be found. The housing estate should have another structure than the one that had been constructed 20 years before (Thalmatt 1), therefore the grid system has been developed. The estate offers a wonderful view to the south and west. To take up the concept of the other housing estate Thalmatt 1 the structuring is hardly visible from outside. As also non-bearing walls have been concreted the construction which is highly compley seems to be almost monolithic.
